Fluxul net de investiţii străine directe a urcat la 7,9 miliarde de euro în anul 2025, arată datele BNR

In 2025, Romania's net foreign direct investment (FDI) reached €7.907 billion, up from €5.6 billion the previous year, according to the National Bank of Romania. The FDI included €6.256 billion in equity capital, comprising contributions and reinvested profits. The total FDI balance at the end of 2025 was €134.823 billion, with €98.16 billion in equity and €36.663 billion in debt instruments. Foreign investors earned €11.493 billion from FDI, with €10.317 billion from equity participation. Net interest income was €1.176 billion. Additionally, the net direct investment of residents abroad amounted to €1.522 billion, with a balance of €9.679 billion at year-end.
