Florida cere instanței să forțeze Meta să facă schimbări la Facebook și Instagram

Florida has requested a state judge to mandate changes to Facebook and Instagram to better protect young users. The state accuses Meta Platforms of harming adolescents and seeks a temporary order to identify and remove users under 14. Additionally, Florida wants to limit teens' screen time to two hours daily and disable features like autoplay and infinite scroll. This legal action follows a broader trend of similar lawsuits against Meta, with Florida opting not to join a previous settlement with 48 states. The requested changes are stricter than those agreed upon by Meta in earlier settlements, aiming to prevent addictive behaviors among young users.
