"Fjord", regizat de Cristian Mungiu, e oficial propunerea României pentru Premiile Oscar 2027

Cristian Mungiu's film "Fjord" is Romania's official submission for the 2027 Oscars in the Best International Feature category. The film premiered at Cannes, winning the prestigious Palme d'Or and several other awards. Starring Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve, it is a co-production involving multiple European countries. The film will be released in Romania this winter after its initial launch in France. The Oscar shortlist will be announced on December 15, 2026, with the final nominations revealed on January 21, 2027, ahead of the ceremony on March 14, 2027.
