Fiul magnatului Victor Micula, condamnat cu suspendare în dosarul accesării ilegale a bazelor Poliției
Victor Micula has lost his last extraordinary appeal against a conviction for illegally accessing police computer systems. The High Court of Cassation and Justice upheld the previous ruling from the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal. Micula and former police officer Camelia-Maria Erdei had sought to challenge the final decision, but their requests were deemed unfounded. The case involved allegations that Micula received unauthorized information from police databases and accessed the police system with Erdei's assistance. Initially sentenced to over three years in prison, Micula's sentence was later suspended, while Erdei received a suspended sentence as well. The High Court's decision is final, and both must pay court costs.
