Fiul fostului mare internațional de baschet Claudiu Fometescu face pasul în prima ligă de seniori la 18 ani

David Fometescu, a promising basketball player born in 2008, has signed with CSM BBA Petrolul Ploiești to compete in the National Men's Basketball League. At 18, he is a member of Romania's Under 18 national team and previously played for CS Agronomia București, where he averaged 16.3 points per game last season. Fometescu showcased his skills at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket, finishing as Romania's second top scorer. He has already begun training with his new team and made his debut in a recent tournament. His father, Claudiu Fometescu, is a notable figure in Romanian basketball, having won multiple national championships.
