Firmele riscă amenzi de până la 10.000 de lei dacă nu au cont de plăți: noile reguli pentru numerar
Companies still using cash must adhere to strict limits and face fines up to 10,000 lei for not having a bank account. The Ploiești Regional Directorate of Public Finances has released a PDF guide outlining cash transaction rules for 2026, applicable to various economic operators. Legal entities must maintain at least one payment account in Romania, with new firms given 60 working days to comply. Daily cash transaction limits are set, including 5,000 lei for payments between businesses and 10,000 lei for cash and carry stores. Fragmentation of payments exceeding these limits is prohibited, with penalties for violations.
