The SME Eco-Tech program has extended its registration deadline to December 30, 2026, allowing micro and small enterprises to apply for funding for green and digital technologies. The program offers a mixed financial support consisting of a non-reimbursable grant of up to 40% of the investment value and a bank loan of at least 60%. Initially launched in May 2026, the program aims to support at least 800 firms, but as of mid-September, only 369 applications had been received. The funding is part of a Swiss contribution to Romania, with a total budget of approximately 289 million lei.
