A single consortium has submitted a bid for Lot 3 of the Cluj Metropolitan Belt, which includes complex infrastructure works and tunnels in the Făget area. The consortium consists of Far Foundation Srl, Lincor Trans Srl, and Automagistral-Pivden Srl. Lot 3 spans approximately 4.8 kilometers and is estimated to cost over 1 billion lei. The same consortium previously won contracts for the first two lots of the Suceava–Siret Express Road project, valued at over 4 billion lei without VAT. The project includes significant tunneling and infrastructure challenges, making it one of the most difficult sections of the belt.
