Firmă de jocuri de noroc, amendată pentru o reclamă cu un medic fals / Suma pe care trebuie să o plătească compania cu o cifră de afaceri de 22 de milioane de euro
The National Office for Gambling (ONJN) fined TG Malta Limited for using a fake doctor in an advertisement promoting gambling. The fine amounts to 20,000 lei, approximately 3,800 euros. This is the first time ONJN has penalized a company for the content of an advertisement. The ad featured a character in a doctor's outfit, which ONJN deemed inappropriate as it trivialized gambling. The company reported a turnover of over 22 million euros but also significant losses. A proposal to suspend the operator's license is under consideration. ONJN's president noted that previous fines were based on missing graphic elements rather than content.
