Fortem Technologies has partnered with MBDA to integrate autonomous drone combat solutions in Europe, introducing the FireThorn system to counter kamikaze drones like the Iranian Shahed and Russian Gheran. This fully autonomous interceptor combines Fortem's high-speed aerial platform with NATO-approved munitions from MBDA. The collaboration aims to enhance existing air defense systems across Europe, providing allied forces with an additional layer of protection for troops and critical infrastructure. FireThorn will serve as a physical neutralization solution, complementing the DroneHunter interceptor within a layered defense architecture.
