Finlanda cere UE să interzică aproape total călătoriile rușilor pe teritoriu european

Finland's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has proposed five measures to the EU to restrict Russian citizens' travel, emphasizing the need for urgent action against Russian aggression. The proposals include halting Schengen visa issuance for non-essential travel, imposing mandatory visa bans on close associates of President Putin, and denying visas to Russian athletes linked to the government. Valtonen also reiterated the call to ban entry for former Russian combatants and requested a substantial amendment to the Visa Code for quicker restrictions. The European Commission is expected to introduce new visa legislation in January.
