Finlanda califică acordul între Washington şi Moscova privind motorina rusă drept „o decepţie enormă”
Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo criticized the U.S. decision to lift sanctions on Russia for diesel deliveries, calling it a significant disappointment. He condemned the agreement as a direct deal with Putin, undermining collective efforts to support Ukraine. Orpo emphasized the importance of maintaining support for Ukraine amid this development. In response, London and Berlin have called for additional sanctions against Moscow. The EU has recently expanded its sanctions list, targeting around 4,600 individuals and entities involved in actions against Ukraine's sovereignty. Finland, which shares a long border with Russia, joined NATO in April 2023, ending its military non-alignment.
