Finanțele continuă împrumuturile: Aproape 1,2 miliarde de lei atrași de la bănci într-o singură zi
The Ministry of Finance borrowed 1.179 billion lei from banks through two state bond issues, as reported by the National Bank of Romania. They raised 297 million lei from a bond issue with a 123-month maturity at an average yield of 7.02%. Additionally, 881.6 million lei was secured through treasury certificates with a 7-month maturity at a yield of 6.06%. A supplementary auction is scheduled to attract an additional 44.6 million lei. The Ministry plans to borrow 7.2 billion lei from commercial banks by August 2026, which is lower than the previous plan of 8.5 billion lei for July 2026, aimed at refinancing public debt and financing the state budget deficit.
