Finala Europa League revine la București după 16 ani

UEFA has announced that the 2028 Europa League final will take place at the National Arena in Bucharest, marking the second time the venue hosts this event. The decision was made during the Executive Committee meeting in Thessaloniki. Bucharest had submitted its bid for finals in both 2028 and 2029. The first time the National Arena hosted the Europa League final was in 2012, when Atletico Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0. The 2029 final will be held in Belgrade, while the Champions League finals in 2028 and 2029 will take place at Allianz Arena in Munich and Camp Nou in Barcelona, respectively.
