Filmul "Nu e locul tău aici" al regizorului Florin Șerban a câștigat Leopardul de Aur la Locarno

The film "Nu e locul tău aici" by Romanian director Florin Șerban won the Golden Leopard at the 79th Locarno Film Festival. It depicts the complex relationship between Marius, a chief doctor, and his teenage son Ioan, whom he raised alone after his wife's death. The film, lasting over two and a half hours, is noted for its dark tones and explores themes of parental awareness and youth rebellion. The jury praised its writing strength and exceptional cinematic language. This marks Șerban's return to feature films after an eight-year hiatus, during which he founded a theater school.
