Video evidence has emerged showing a meeting between former Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and Constitutional Court President Simina Tănăsescu on August 14. The footage, aired by Antena 3 CNN, confirms their presence in the Senate building around the same time, with Bolojan entering at 13:35 and Tănăsescu arriving shortly after. They spent approximately 40 minutes in the vicinity of the Senate President's office. Both officials denied that the meeting was related to any ongoing cases at the Constitutional Court, although it occurred just days before a significant ruling on a political integrity law. Tănăsescu stated the discussion was about administrative space needs for the Court, while Bolojan dismissed the controversy as mere propaganda.
