Filarmonica din Târgu Mureș a primit primul contrabas nou după 50 de ani

The Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic has received its first new double bass in 50 years, crafted by luthier Dumitru Pop. This significant acquisition was made possible with support from the Mureș County Council. The new five-string instrument marks a milestone for the orchestra, which last had a new double bass in 1976. Dumitru Pop is renowned for his expertise in string instruments and participates in international events. His workshop not only creates new instruments but also restores old master instruments.
