The Ministry of Finance will launch a new edition of Fidelis bonds from September 4 to 11, 2026, allowing individuals to invest in state securities with interest rates up to 7.50% in lei and 6.30% in euro. Special rates are available for blood donors, and lower minimum subscription amounts apply for them. Since August 2020, Fidelis has attracted over 71.7 billion lei in investments, with 2026 alone seeing over 9.64 billion lei in subscriptions. The bonds are tax-exempt and can be traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
