The film is a Romania-Germany-Belgium co-production and marks Şerban's directorial debut, making her the first Roma female director to present a feature film at Venice. The cast includes both professional actors and young residents from care centers in Bucharest. The film was selected for the Venice Spotlight section, highlighting innovative and creative works.
