Femeie iraniană condamnată la moarte pentru „blasfemie”. Totul de la o postare pe rețelele de socializare • Newsweek România
A 23-year-old Iranian woman, Najmeh Amini, has been sentenced to death for blasphemy due to a social media post. Human rights groups are alarmed by the increasing use of capital punishment in Iran, with over 600 executions reported this year. Amini, a student, is currently imprisoned in Mashhad and has received separate sentences totaling over 12 years and death for various charges, including insulting the prophet. She was arrested during nationwide protests in January, which were met with severe repression. In an audio message, Amini called for international intervention, expressing her fears for her family's well-being and her desire to be heard.
