Federația Română de Fotbal introduce cartonașul negru în fotbalul juvenil. Care este scopul măsurii? • Newsweek România

The Romanian Football Federation has introduced a black card in youth football to permanently stop matches due to abusive behavior from parents or spectators. This card signals the referee to end the game after two warnings and a temporary suspension. Initially, the referee will pause the game and ask coaches to address the issue with their supporters. If the behavior continues, the match is suspended for 10 minutes, allowing coaches another chance to calm the situation. If problems persist after resuming, the referee will end the match and display the black card. This measure targets inappropriate conduct towards children, staff, referees, and other spectators, aiming to enhance the experience of young players in competitions. The FRF claims to be the only football federation globally to implement such a card for spectator misconduct.
