FC Argeș has officially announced the signing of 26-year-old Portuguese left-back Tiago Gonçalves, who previously played in Romania for FC Hermannstadt. Born on August 18, 2000, in Cascais, Gonçalves is versatile, capable of playing both as a left-back and in more advanced positions. He began his career at Tires and joined Belenenses' academy in 2013. After stints in Italy and Spain, he returned to Belenenses in 2023 before moving to Hermannstadt, where he had a notable season, contributing to the team's Cup final appearance. His performances led to a transfer to Újpest FC in 2025, and he later returned to Italy on loan. His market value is estimated at 750,000 euros.
