The only exception will be for lottery activities conducted by the National Lottery, without slot machines. Initially, the city considered allowing these establishments in a limited industrial area, but this idea faced opposition from residents. The Timiș County Council offered a site outside the city for relocation, which the city declined. Fritz expressed confidence that the local council will support the complete ban, marking Timișoara as a potential pioneer in Romania for eliminating such gambling venues.
