Fanii Harry Potter au deviat o conductă de milioane de lire, pentru a proteja „mormântul” lui Dobby

Harry Potter fans successfully halted a major power line project between the UK and Ireland to protect a memorial for Dobby, the house-elf. The Greenlink project, valued at £430 million, was redirected after fans raised concerns about its impact on a tribute site at Freshwater West beach, where a key scene from the films was filmed. The National Trust had previously allowed the memorial to remain but urged fans to stop leaving socks for environmental reasons. Following protests, the consulting firm adjusted the cable route to avoid the memorial, allowing the project to proceed without disturbing Dobby's resting place.
