Familii ”normale” și ”grav bolnave” Cine sunt ”evidențiații” patriei
In Romania, a phenomenon has emerged where individuals, often wealthy and involved in illegal activities, present themselves as victims of the state when facing legal consequences. These so-called 'evidentiated' individuals, including politicians and business leaders, claim to be from 'normal families' while enjoying luxurious lifestyles funded by illicit gains. Despite their wealth, they seek social assistance, creating a paradox that raises questions about their true financial status. Many manage to evade justice or receive lenient sentences, returning to positions of power and continuing their manipulative practices. The recent case of Călin Georgescu highlights this issue, as he portrays himself as a champion of the people while being embroiled in legal troubles and possessing unexplained wealth.
