Faleza Tuzla: 33 de hectare revin definitiv în proprietatea statului

Almost 33 hectares of land in Tuzla have been returned to public ownership after an 11-year legal battle. The High Court of Cassation and Justice rejected the appeal from Tuzla Municipality and Local Council against the Constanța Court of Appeal's decision. Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu confirmed that the land will remain under state ownership and managed by the Romanian Waters Authority. The dispute began in 2015, and the Supreme Court's ruling is final. Buzoianu emphasized the need for clarity regarding coastal land ownership, as some local administrations have transferred coastal lands to local property, leading to potential misuse. The decision resolves the Tuzla case and reinforces the protection of public assets.
