The Făgăraș City Hall is moving forward with a thematic park project inspired by Romania's map, now in the bidding phase. The park will cover over 30,000 square meters along the Olt River, featuring distinct plantings for the seven historical regions. It will include pedestrian paths, street lighting, and urban furniture, with a flagpole and a stone milestone at the center. The project aims to enhance green spaces and create a symbolic tourist attraction, funded by non-repayable European funds. Similar projects exist in Harghita and Sighișoara, but Făgăraș's approach focuses on large-scale landscaping rather than building models.
