Facturile la energie ar putea crește din nou. Furnizorii pregătesc noi ajustări de preț. Cât ar putea ajunge scumpirile - WOWbiz.ro

Romanian energy bills may rise again this fall, with suppliers potentially increasing prices by up to 10% due to reduced hydro production and issues at the Cernavodă nuclear plant. The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, Cristian Bușoi, indicated that price hikes will vary by supplier and contract. Increased consumption during the hot summer months has also contributed to higher bills. The severe drought has significantly impacted hydroelectric production, while the shutdown of reactors at Cernavodă has further strained the energy market. Hidroelectrica has already announced a price increase for new contracts starting in October 2026, with an estimated overall impact of around 7% on final bills.
