Starting next month, Hidroelectrica will raise electricity prices from 45 to 51 bani per kWh, impacting bills by about 7%. Other suppliers are also likely to increase their rates, potentially reaching close to 2 lei per kWh. Consumers are reminded they can switch energy providers easily and for free, with the process taking up to 24 hours.
