Facturi mai mari la energie în această toamnă. Ce spune Cristian Bușoi despre o scumpire de 50%

Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, warns of rising electricity prices this autumn due to the European gas market situation and the prolonged shutdown of two reactors at Cernavodă. He noted that exact estimates for bill increases are not yet available, as the duration of the reactors' closure remains uncertain. Bușoi stated that the scenario of reopening the reactors by mid-October is no longer realistic, and Romania has seen record electricity imports. He assured that there is currently no risk of electricity shortages, but emphasized the need for investments in storage batteries and new production capacities. Support measures for vulnerable consumers may be considered if prices rise significantly, although no concrete discussions are underway at this time.
