The Association for Intelligent Energy (AEI) predicts a 22% increase in electricity prices for new 12-month offers this autumn, driven by market conditions and gas price changes. The average price could reach 1.67 lei/kWh, reflecting a rise of 0.37 lei/kWh compared to previous offers. For a monthly consumption of 200 kWh, this translates to an additional cost of about 74 lei. The increase is influenced by higher spot market prices and additional costs for balancing and adjustments. AEI emphasizes that these figures are estimates and may not reflect actual price increases by all suppliers.
