Revolut has reported a significant security breach where sensitive customer information was disclosed to an unauthorized third party. The breach occurred after fraudulent requests were sent from a legitimate government email domain. The company has over 80 million customers globally and operates as a bank in more than 30 countries. Upon discovering the breach, Revolut blocked the email address and notified relevant authorities. Although customer data such as birth dates, addresses, and identification documents were compromised, the company stated that its systems and customer funds remain unaffected. The exact number of impacted individuals has not been disclosed.
