Fabrica UZUC din Ploiești devine muzeu cu peste 100 de artiști

Over 100 artists from Romania and around the world showcase their work in Ploiești for the fifth edition of the Urban Art Annual, Artown NOW. The UZUC factory, transformed into the (CONtra)TEMPORARY Museum, highlights the creative process itself. Artists utilize materials from the factory to create sculptures and installations, giving the site a new identity. Notable contributions include works by Spenser Little, Adriano Bohra, and Giovanni Magnoli, who employs a unique painting technique reminiscent of ancient mosaics. The museum operates temporarily, existing only while artists and visitors are present, yet the artistic interventions remain permanent. The event runs until September 12, with guided tours available on weekends.
