Fabrică de reciclare a sticlei de 7,4 milioane de euro la Buzău

A glass recycling factory with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons has been inaugurated in Buzău, following a €7.4 million investment. This facility is among the largest recent investments in glass recycling in Romania and Southeast Europe. It will process post-consumer glass into secondary raw materials for new packaging production. Supported by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the factory aims to enhance glass recycling capacity and infrastructure. The investment is seen as a step towards a circular economy and regional cooperation in waste management.
