„Expulzați violatorii”: Proteste față de reacția Universității Cornell privind acuzațiile de agresiuni sexuale

Students at Cornell University protested against the administration's response to sexual assault allegations linked to a fraternity. The main administrative building was vandalized with graffiti. Protesters, including faculty and students, demanded justice for survivors and criticized the university's focus on reputation over student safety. They called for changes to the student conduct code regarding consent and disciplinary actions against those involved in the alleged assault. This protest followed a civil lawsuit by a former student claiming she was drugged and sexually assaulted, which did not lead to criminal charges due to insufficient evidence. Only two of the seven accused students faced expulsion, while others received lighter sanctions.
