The 26th edition of ExpoApa concluded with a consensus on the need for an integrated strategy for Romania's water industry, focusing on investments, technology, and specialist training. Over 4,000 participants discussed the modernization of the sector, infrastructure financing post-2027, and the importance of skilled professionals. The event highlighted the necessity of a closer collaboration between academia and industry to attract young talent. European Commission representatives emphasized the importance of a European approach to enhance the sector's resilience and the launch of the European Water Academy to support education and training. The event also reinforced the strategic importance of water infrastructure in Romania, calling for long-term funding solutions.
