Two individuals were injured in an explosion followed by a fire at a starch factory in Medgidia, according to the Constanța Emergency Inspectorate. The fire was extinguished by employees before firefighters arrived. Emergency responders included fire trucks, a personnel transport vehicle, a first aid team, and a SMURD helicopter. Upon arrival, rescuers found two victims with burns on their upper limbs and face, who were then transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation.
