The project, estimated at 4 billion euros, focuses on the Domino and Pelican Sud fields, with the Neptun Alpha platform processing extracted gas. The interim Prime Minister emphasized its strategic importance for Romania's energy security and economic revival, particularly in the fertilizer industry. Contracts for gas sales have been established with Silcotub and Uniper, while legislation for state reserve rights on gas quantities is progressing.
