Experiment inedit într-o gară din România: călătorii și arta contemporană vor împărți aceeași clădire
The Săcel train station in Maramureș will host a permanent contemporary art center while maintaining its railway operations. Four trains will continue to stop daily. The National Railway Company has made the station available to the Romanian Association for Contemporary Art, which will develop the 'Linia Izei · Art Center' project. The initiative aims to preserve the station's historical character while introducing new cultural functions. The center will be inaugurated on September 3, featuring the exhibition 'Rhythms of Continuity' with works from 16 contemporary artists. This project exemplifies the integration of cultural activities within railway spaces.
