While Spain's GDP grows, the purchasing power of households has declined, leading to a significant migration of Romanians and Ukrainians. In contrast, other nationalities, particularly from Colombia and Venezuela, are arriving in large numbers. The changing economic landscape has made Spain less attractive for long-term migrants.
