However, the high frequency of accidents involving trucks, particularly TIRs, raises concerns among insurers. Over 200,000 trucks are reported to have a damage frequency exceeding 20%, with average damages significantly higher than those for personal vehicles. The special insurance regime for these vehicles, known as the "high-risk insured," allows them to obtain lower premiums despite their accident rates. Insurers express dissatisfaction with this system, citing inadequate premiums and the burden of distributing policies without commissions. Experts call for dialogue to address these issues and improve the situation.
