The lawsuit claims that parts produced could be used against Russia from Romanian territory. The sale, valued at 138 million euros, follows a series of criticisms from AUR regarding the government's handling of the shipyard's financial issues. The shipyard is intended to serve both civilian and military purposes. The case has not yet been assigned a court date, and AUR leaders have expressed similar concerns about the transaction's legality and implications for Romania's defense capabilities.
