The Education Committee of the Chamber of Deputies has adopted a proposal to postpone the high school admission exam until after the eighth grade for students entering fifth grade in 2025-2026. This decision followed heated discussions among committee members. Several legislative proposals were submitted to either delay or eliminate the exam, but the PSD's version prevailed. USR accused the committee president of political maneuvering to exclude their proposal from debate. The Chamber of Deputies will vote on the proposal before sending it to the Senate for final decision.
