On September 2, 1,414 graduates from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest took their licensing exam, marking the end of their six-year medical education. The ceremony featured speeches from the dean and the president of the Romanian College of Physicians, emphasizing the evolving nature of the medical profession and the importance of empathy in patient care. Graduates included 1,171 who studied in Romanian and 243 in English, catering to international students. The dean highlighted the need for continuous adaptation in medical education and practice, while the college president stressed the significance of communication skills and the human aspect of medicine.
