A false narrative is spreading on social media, claiming that the event "Masa care Unește" aims to obstruct farmers' protests scheduled for September 15. This misinformation suggests that the long table set up in front of the Romanian Parliament is a barricade against protesters. The narrative is linked to a campaign promoting violence against law enforcement during the protests. Additionally, the twins Beniamin and Iosif Graur, known for their humanitarian work, are falsely accused of organizing the event to hinder the protests. The actual event, which set a world record with over 20,000 participants, was a charitable initiative to support public hospitals in Romania.
