Eurostat: România, a doua cea mai mare scumpire a benzinei dintre țările UE

In August, Romania experienced the second highest increase in gasoline prices in the EU, rising by 6.6%. Only Spain saw a higher increase at 8.2%. Diesel prices also rose by 6.1%, below the EU average of 8.3%. Overall, fuel prices in the EU increased by 23.8% compared to August 2025, with Bulgaria reporting the highest annual increase at 34.5%.
