Approximately 18% of EU farms have adopted precision agriculture, managing 44% of the total agricultural area. Internet access is crucial, with 43% of farms connected, particularly in Northern and Central Europe. Farm management systems are used by 11% of farms, with France having the highest adoption rate. Conventional agricultural machinery remains widespread, with 84% of farms using it, especially tractors. Ownership models vary, with unique ownership prevalent in Ireland and Slovenia, while sharing and renting are common in Romania, Greece, and Hungary.
