Europa, tot mai vulnerabilă înainte de iarnă. Un nou risc pentru aprovizionarea cu gaze
The Dutch TTF natural gas price in Europe surpassed 70 euros per MWh due to escalating tensions between the US and Iran, raising concerns about LNG supply disruptions. The price reached a peak of 70.85 euros/MWh, influenced by uncertainties in Gulf LNG exports. European gas storage levels are currently below historical averages, with Germany and the Netherlands facing challenges in meeting storage targets. Italy is also at risk despite high storage levels, as QatarEnergy suspended LNG deliveries to Edison due to the conflict. Analysts warn that prolonged disruptions could lead to increased competition for LNG and higher prices in Europe, affecting household energy bills.
