Europa riscă o criză a gazelor în această iarnă. Rezervele au coborât la cel mai scăzut nivel din ultimii 15 ani

The European Union may face a natural gas deficit of up to 14 billion cubic meters in winter 2026-2027, which is about 7% of its total consumption. Current gas reserves are at their lowest for this time of year since 2011, raising concerns about energy bills and consumption reduction measures. A report indicates that if winter temperatures are low and LNG imports are limited, reserves could drop to 11%, impacting strategic reserves. The EU's reliance on stored gas has increased due to the ban on long-term contracts for Russian LNG, which could further reduce imports. Analysts warn that rising prices and reduced industrial demand could complicate the situation, with potential costs for consumers increasing significantly.
