Europa nu ține pasul cu războiul dronelor. Câte sisteme de apărare vor fi gata până în 2030. Raportul UE care arată breșa uriașă

Investments in drone countermeasures in the EU surged sixfold from 2024 to 2025, yet only a third of current programs are expected to be operational by 2030. A report by the European Defence Agency highlights significant gaps in Europe's defense capabilities against drones, urging member states to increase funding for both drones and anti-drone systems. The eastern flank of the EU faces escalating drone threats, with recent attacks on commercial vessels in Bulgarian waters. Despite a total investment of nearly €19 billion in drone technologies from 2024 to 2029, the report points out fragmented procurement and insufficient interoperability as major issues. The European drone industry, while dynamic, remains fragmented and needs a more coordinated approach to meet the growing demands of defense.
